Cancellations and refunds

These rules cover the sittings Neuron Junction actually offers: the personal learning path, the desk reading hour, the study circle, and the path checkpoint. Eligibility

A refund request is eligible when it concerns a fee or deposit Neuron Junction has received for one of those sittings, and when you send it within 14 days of the payment or before the relevant cut-off below, whichever gives the clearer result in your favour under Korean consumer rules.

Full refund

The personal learning path deposit is refunded in full when you cancel at least seven days before the intake and before any path draft has been started. A desk hour or checkpoint is refunded in full when you cancel at least 48 hours before the sitting. A circle seat is refunded in full when you cancel at least seven days before the first Thursday, or when Neuron Junction moves or withdraws the circle.

Partial refund

If you cancel a path after the intake and before the booklet draft begins, we retain ₩80,000 for the intake time and refund the rest of what you have paid. If the draft has been written and you stop before the midpoint review, half of the starting fee is retained and the remainder is refunded. Desk hours cancelled inside 48 hours retain the full hour fee. A circle seat cancelled after the second meeting is not refunded for the remaining evenings.

Non-refundable items

A sitting that has already been held is non-refundable. A printed path booklet that has already been produced is non-refundable for its making cost of ₩25,000, deducted from any refund of the path fee. Postage already paid to send a booklet is non-refundable. The circle packet, once handed out on the first evening, is not separately refunded.

Deposits

The path deposit is ₩144,000. It is applied to the starting fee. If you do not appear for the intake and you have not given notice, the deposit is retained. If we cancel the intake, the deposit is returned in full.

No-shows

A reader who misses a desk hour, review, or checkpoint without notice forfeits that sitting’s fee. A circle seat left empty still counts as the reserved seat. We wait 15 minutes, then release the desk for the next reader.

Rescheduling

Each confirmed sitting may be moved once without a fee if you write at least 48 hours before the original time and we have another opening within 30 days. A second move, or a move inside 48 hours, is treated as a cancellation under the rules above. Illness with a same-day note can be moved once even inside 48 hours; the deposit stays applied to the new date.

Work already started and materials

Path drafting begins when the intake ends. From that moment the partial-refund rule for a written draft applies. Purchased or printed materials already produced, including the booklet and any Korean margin copy you asked us to print, are charged as the non-refundable making cost above. Library copies that stay on our shelf are not charged as materials.

How to ask, and how it is paid

Email hello@neuronjunction.click with the sitting name, the date, and the amount you paid. We confirm eligibility within five working days. Approved refunds are sent within 10 working days after that confirmation, by the same method you used to pay. If that method cannot receive a return, we ask for another account in your name.

Exceptions

If the room must close for weather or transport on Geoje, we move the sitting at no charge or refund the unused portion, at your choice.
